Setting up


1. Both iPad and the Structure Scanner require separate charging. 2. Ensure the Structure Scanner is connected to the iPad via the charging socket and the Structure Scanner case is connected to the iPad. 3. Log into iPad and Select the Structure Scanner (3DsizeME) app placed in the menu bar. 4. Select the main menu bar in the top right corner to reveal more options. 5. Select ‘Settings’ and place in the ‘Bundle ID’ area Orthotech. 6. The app will reset and our Skin will appear.

Setting Up Email System


1. Select the main menu bar in the top right corner to reveal more options. 2. Select ‘Settings’ and place in the ‘Bundle ID’ area Orthotech. 3. Scroll down to the 'IMED' section. 4. Change 'Upload target' to Email 5. Change 'Default email recipients' to prescriptions@orthotech.com.au

What is a Structure Sensor? Structure Sensor adds precise 3D vision to your mobile device, giving it another method for understanding it's general surroundings. What about the recently released (newest) iPad models? We do work hard to support new iPads as quickly as possible, and we've supported every new release within a few months since the iPad 4th Generation (several years ago). We do work swiftly, but if you would like to be notified when one of the newest models is supported then you can quickly add your name to the list below (we will not use your email for anything other than notifying you when the iPad mentioned becomes a supported model).





Scanning

Step by step


1. Log into iPad and Select the Structure Scanner (3DsizeME) app placed in the menu bar.

2. Click on ‘New Patient’ or select an existing Patient.

3. Fill out the required information about the patient (Name, age, sex etc.)

4. Select which style of scan you would like to preform, foam box or AFO

5. Hold the scanner away from the foot until you see a box appear, centre the foot in the 6. box. Scan one foot at a time, start with the left foot.

6. Put your patient in prone or supine with their feet off the edge.

7. Tap Start Scan.

8. Slowly and steadily move the scanner around the subject while viewing the image on the screen. Remember to keep the image centred on the screen. If there are gaps in the scanned data after a single pass, continue scanning to try to fill the gaps. Holding the scanner still over a portion of the object can also fill data gaps.

When you are satisfied with the scan, tap done or the arrow to redo the scan if you feel you didn’t get enough data or the patient moved during the scan. This may take some time to create the model so please be patient.




Saving/Sending


This will automatically save the scans for you, to send please open the scan and press send, this will email the scans to us. To send the script you can either fill the script out via our software or our online forms. Please use the same full name that you named the scans on the script so we can easily match them up in production.
