Cliniko API connection is a “nice-to-have” feature and works most of the time, but there may be situations where it doesn’t transfer across.

 

There can also be factors related to individual IT setups that may interfere with API transfers. These can include firewalls, antivirus or endpoint security software, network restrictions, proxy configurations, VPNs, browser settings, or permission/access controls within Cliniko itself.

 

If you are experiencing issues, we recommend having your IT team review firewall rules, security settings, and any network or endpoint restrictions that could be blocking the connection. During times where Cliniko is not accepting file transfers, please follow the steps below outlining how to download the PDF script:

 

1. Click on the order number

2. Click the arrow in the right-hand corner to reveal patient info

3. Click on Script PDF

4. Script will download
