Prescription Software

The Orthotech Prescription Software gives you access to four scripts: Custom, Polar Bear Semi-Custom, Control360 Prefab and Control360 Pro. Custom Custom orthotics require a scan or cast as it is customised to your patients’ foot. You have the selection of 7 designs plus the option of creating you own. From there we are able to select any shell material and add intrinsic/extrinsic modifications to your prescription. Polar Bear Semi-Custom For a semi-custom orthotic you do not take a scan or cast of the foot, we supply you with a template to measure the foot against. You have the selection of 4 designs, 4 Rearfoot degrees, 3 arch heights and 12 sizes. You are able to select any shell material and add any extrinsic additions onto the orthotics just like a custom. Control360 Prefab The Cotnrol360 range are a polypropylene prefabricated orthotics based of our most commonly prescribed orthotic designs from our custom and semi-custom range. They come in three different designs and five different flexes that are all 2.8mm thick yet mimic the flex of 1mm to 5mm polypropylene orthotics. Control360 Pro The Control360 Pro range is the same as the Control360 range however any extrinsic additions can be added to the orthotics just like a semi-custom and custom. You have the option of using software or online prescription forms, you are able to choose the option that suits your clinic best. Below is step by step on how to download the software. For more information on online scripts CLICK HERE.(https://www.orthotech.info/online-ordering) 1. Login to your portal via orthotech.com.au/portal/login(http://orthotech.com.au/portal/login) 2. In the main menu select Downloads > Software or CLICK HERE.(https://www.orthotech.info/software)(https://www.orthotech.info/software) 3. Click on Orthotech_3D_Install, it should download automatically. 4. Once downloaded, run. 5. Click Finish. The Software is now downloaded on your computer, the icon which is a green box with a white O is now installed on your desktop. When there is a new update for our Prescription Software we will make youo aware via email: 1. Login to your portal via orthotech.com.au/portal/login.(http://orthotech.com.au/portal/login) 2. In the main menu select Downloads > Software or CLICK HERE(https://www.orthotech.info/software) 3. Click on Orthotech_3D_Install, it should download automatically. 4. Ensure you have closed the existing software before downloading the updated version. 4. Once downloaded, run. 5. Tick 'no more queries' when prompted. 6. Creating a shortcut to your script location will allow you quicker access to your scripts to send off. 1. Head to My Computer or This PC. 2. Click on Windows (C:) under Drives and Devices. 3. Click on Program Files (Not to get confused with Program Files x86) and locate the Othotech_3D folder. 4. Right click on the 3D Data folder and select either Create Shortcut or New > Shortcut depending on your options. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined 5. Ensure that the shortcut has been created on your desktop, it will either automatically do this, or you will have to move the shortcut from the 3D Data folder to the desktop by dragging it.

Prescription Forms and scans creating by the Orthotech Software are locked to the software therefore you will need to open them within the software if you want to view or edit your Prescription Form: 1. Open the Orthotech 3D Software 2. Select File in the top left hand corner and select Open. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined 3. Chose the Prescription Forms you would like to open and double click, from here you can view, edit or print the script.

The default location for prescriptions located in your (C:) drive, they are then saved by year and date. Please see below step by step on how to locate your lost Prescription Forms, the Prescription Form location can be changed by following the instructions in the tab Changing Prescription Forms Location below. Please note: you are unable to open and view the scripts outside of the Prescription Forms, please see tab Opening Prescription Forms if you are wanting to view, edit or print your Prescription Forms. 1. Head to My Computer or This PC. 2. Click on Windows (C:) under Drives and Devices. 3. Click on Program Files (Not to get confused with Program Files x86) and locate the Othotech_3D folder. 4. Click on 3D Data to view the year and date folders storing your prescriptions. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined If you are unable to locate them, using your folder search bar and typing in the Patients name will help you locate them.

You can customise your Prescription Form location if you wish, this is only suggested if you are placing the folder on a cloud or server to access Prescription Forms from multiple computers. 1. Create the folder you are wanting the Prescription Forms in the location you want them to be saved in. 2. Open the Orthotech 3D Software. 3. Under Setup in the top left hand corner and select Setup. 4. Half way down the first column, tick Set my 3D data folder path. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined 5. Select Folder… and Locate the folder you created in step one. 6. Once you have selected the folder, click OK and Save your changes.

Default Forms allow you to save your details and common selections for all Prescription Forms created via the Orthotech Software. This is a great way to save time if you have multiple podiatrists, locations or common scripts you use. There is no limit to these defaults. 1. Open the software. You have four choices, the custom Prescription Form which also brings up the scanner, Polar Bear semi-custom, control360 and Control360 Pro Prescription Forms which do not require a scan. 2. Fill out your details (Name, Phone, Email, Clinic and Address) plus anything else in the Prescription Form you would like to save. 3. Once you have completed and saved your Prescription Form/s and Scans to begin manufacture we require them to be sent to the lab, this can be done online or via email. Online CLICK HERE (https://www.orthotech.info/uploading-scripts-and-scans)for the overview and step by step for uploading Prescription Forms and scans online. Email 1. Login or open your email software. 2. Create new email. 3. TO: prescriptions@orthotech.com.au(mailto:prescriptions@orthotech.com.au?subject=New Order) 4. Attach your Prescription Form/s and Scans, you can either drag and drop your files into the upload section or upload via the upload button. For more information on locating scripts please see Locating Prescription Forms tab. 8. Press Send. You will receive an email within 5 minutes confirming your order. If you want to store the prescription form in your patients file or send the prescription form to someone that does not have the Orthotech Software you are able to save the presription form as a PDF. 1. Press Print... which is located at the bottom of the presctipion form 2. Select PDF in the printer drop down menu 3. 1. Open the software and click on custom orthotics as per usual. 2. Fill out the patient's name; please add '1' after the full name. 3. Scan patient as per usual. 4. Fill out the prescription form after scanning as per usual. 5. For the second prescription form, proceed to open software and click on custom orthotics once again as per usual. 6. Instead of just filling out the patient's name, please fill out the entire prescription form; please add '2' after the full name. 7. Save this prescription form and exit software. 8. Open the software and proceed to 'open'. Both prescription forms and one set of scans will appear.
